COVID-19 UPDATE #4: July 10

We are pleased to announce the relaunching of the tours this weekend beginning Saturday night with Haunted Cowtown. Due to social distancing requirements and other COVID-19 measures, we will be changing up the way tours are offered.

COVID-19 Policies and Procedures

MASKS ARE MANDATORY ON ALL TOURS! Our guide and all guests will be expected to wear a mask. We will have limited quantities of masks available on a first come, first serve basis.

Our guides will not be shaking hands and will limit contact with any guests.

Family and social bubbles are asked to remain together and remain 2m away from all other individuals not included in their bubble.

Tour Changes

Downtown North and Downtown South will no longer be offered at this time.

Historic Stephen Avenue will be the only history tour offered as the pedestrian only street allows us to spread out, and does not confine us to small sidewalks.

Historic Stephen Ave will be offered Friday, Saturday and Sunday only at 11am.

Historic Stephen Ave will be limited to 20 guests.

Haunted Cowtown will be limited to 10 guests. Exceptions will be made to keep family and social bubbles together.

Haunted Cowtown's route will be altered and reduced to a 1 hour tour. To accomodate people, multiple public tours will be offered on Saturday nights. Public tours will be Saturday night at 7pm and 8pm. The starting point will be altered as well to Deane House at 7pm, and Rouge at 8pm.

Private tours for Haunted Cowtown can be arranged at 9pm Saturday night for families who do not want to be in a group due to COVID concerns. These private tours will be at a special reduced rate of $10 per person. All members of the group must be of the same social bubble.

Private tours are still available for all our tours and can be arranged at any time that is convenient for you. These are structured to your needs and desires. Simply send us an email or use our contact us form on the site to inquire.

If you have any questions about the changes and our new policies and procedures, please contact me to discuss.

Yours truly,

The shoot will be done in your doorway / porch / backyard / etc, and from a safe distance. Our photographer will contact you prior to arriving to discuss the shots and any concerns that you may have. In the end, you will receive a minimum of 5 edited photos for free, sent digitally.

Haunted Cowtown

Walk The YYC

Deane House  |  Rouge
Haunted Cowtown

Sat @ 7pm & 8pm (*must have 2 booked)

Haunted Cowtown is Calgary's only free hunted tour. We walk the streets of Inglewood, the oldest area of Calgary and discuss the possibility that no one appears to ever leave our fair city. For a city that's less than 150 years old, there sure are a lot of stories. We will discuss verified stories by Calgary's premier ghost hunting team CAPI, and we'll discuss the validity of some of the most notorious stories that have defined the paranormal culture in the city.

Please note the meeting point varies depending on the time so be sure to note your starting location in your confirmation.

Historic Stephen Ave

Walk The YYC

Palace Theatre  |  Olympic Plaza
Historic Stephen Ave

Fri, Sat & Sun @ 11am (*must have 2 booked)

Get ready to be ushered back in time on this 2 hour tour. In 2002, Stephen Avenue was declared a National Historic Site and we will use it as our stage as we recreate stories from the first 60 years of the city. Hear about a city Councillor who owned a bar during Prohibition. Learn about a Premier who created his own money! We'll discuss the story of the 5 suffragettes, and then wrap up the 2 hour story with Alberta's Greatest Citizen!

Finally, if you're looking for attraction or food and drink recommendations, this is definitely the tour for you!
